Keep moving forward

Keep moving forward

You have goals. A vision for your future. You are trying to get there, but you have made mistakes along the way. That’s okay. Mistakes happen. Keep moving forward. The only way your mistakes hold you back is when you allow them to make you stop. No matter how much time you spend planning, no matter how much effort you spend in executing your plan, you will not execute your plan for success perfectly. When failures happen, reevaluate your plan and try again. Only by repeated trying will you ever accomplish your goals and achieve your vision for your life.

Build relationships to become successful

Building relationships

Building relationships is a crucial part of becoming a successful individual. In fact, one big reason that so many do not achieve the success that they desire is their lack of good people skills. Remember, the ability to get along with other people and relate to them is vital to your success. If you are not a good listener, if you lack empathy with others, if you cannot take positive criticism, then you have some work to do. A lot of work. Because you cannot fake it until you make it. You must be genuine if other people are going to want to do business with you.

Success comes at a price

Success comes at a price

Success comes at a price. Your goals can only be accomplished by hard work. You must be willing to give up today’s gratification for tomorrow’s success. Remember that most entrepreneurs fail many times before they ever succeed. Many give up before achieving the success they want, unwilling to make another attempt after a failure. Think about the things in your life that you want to accomplish. What do you need to do today to make your dreams happen?

Failure is not the end of the road

Success is not a destination, and neither is failure. We are all on a journey, and we will all encounter successes and failures along the way. The successful understand that failure cannot be avoided. The unsuccessful expect failure and give up when they experience it. When you experience failure, do not give up. Learn from it. Remember, with failure comes experience. From this experience, you are preparing yourself for greater successes in the future. But whatever you do, do not allow yourself to believe that you are a failure. If you do, you will continue to fail. Because you will eventually stop trying.

Do you see problems or opportunities?

When you look ahead, do you see problems or opportunities? How you judge the obstacles that will invariably lie in your road to success will greatly affect your ability to accomplish your goals and dreams. See obstacles for what they truly are: opportunities to improve yourself and to guide you along your path. Do not be discouraged. Remember that everyone faces obstacles. Recognize that not everybody keeps moving forward in the face of adversity. Resolve to be mentally strong and to keep working toward your goals. Keep moving forward. Only through constant vigilance will you ever achieve the extraordinary.

Is a healthy marriage key to successful entrepreneurs?

Healthy Marriage

Last week, I wrote about debt and the implications of Proverbs 22:7. I would like to look at another proverb this week, one which I believe is important if you are to be successful in life. Proverbs 5:18, “Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.” Related: How much of your small business do you really own? Is this one of the secrets to success? What do the following men have in common: Bill Gates, Mark Cuban, and Jeff Bezos? If you answered that they were all highly successful entrepreneurs, then you would be correct. But did you know that, according to Wikipedia, all of these men are currently married to their first spouse? Now, maybe you can find just as many ultra-successful entrepreneurs who have had multiple marriages, or maybe have never been married. But something tells me that you won’t. You see, maintaining ...

The truth about being a successful entrepreneur

Truth about entrepreneur

There are many business owners in the world today, but there are few entrepreneurs. What distinguishes the entrepreneur from other business owners? Simple. Entrepreneurs create. This cannot be helped. Therefore, the entrepreneur must always be on the lookout for these weak links. When a weak link is identified, the entrepreneur faces a dilemma: strengthen the link to greater effectiveness, eliminate the link, or ignore the problem. A chain is only as strong as the weakest link But ignoring the problem is never a real option. If a ...
